Chengfeng Wang serves as an Acting Manager with the Bay Area Air Quality Management District’s Strategic Incentives Division. In this role, he oversees the administration of the Transportation Fund for Clean Air Program, a program that awards approximately $22 million annually in grant funds for trip reduction and alternative fuel vehicle projects to achieve surplus emissions reductions. Before joining the Air District, he worked for the California Air Resources Board (CARB) as a Manager of the On-Road Model Implementation Section. Previously, he worked at the CARB as an Air Pollution Specialist from April 2006 through November 2011, where he developed and maintained CARB’s emissions inventories and provided technical support during the process of CARB’s development of on- and off-road vehicle regulations. Mr. Wang earned a Doctorate degree in Marine Studies from the University of Delaware and a Master’s degree in Vehicle Application Engineering and a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the Dalian Maritime University.
